Esser said, “As one of the first providers of gigabit internet speeds, we are excited to rapidly expand that choice to more of our customers nationwide. The innovative technology and devices displayed at CES are all powered by broadband and our latest investments help bring these connected applications to the businesses and residents of the communities we serve.”

The Southwest Region General Manager and Senior Vice President of Cox Communications®, John Wolfe said that the telecom company is planning to achieve the goal in Arizona “by deploying gig speeds to nearly all our Arizona customers by the end of this year.” The officials from Cox® made these announcements at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas a few days ago.

According to the telecom company, they are rolling out their Gigablast service at a rapid pace because of DOCSIS 3.1, which is a latest cable broadband technology that is deployed over the existing network of Cox Communication®. The officials from the telecom giant also stated that they are planning to expand the availability of their gigabit speeds to approximately 99 percent households in the country by the end of the year 2019. The latest technology will offer additional gigabit internet options to small business too and increase their chance of acquiring the best internet deals.
